BEWARE: LONG LONG STORY AHEAD!
CNY celebrations are almost over. things are still on-going, waiting to be accomplished. let me share with you guys my CNY 2007. this year`s CNY was more spectacular compared to the previous years. House visiting was the usual must! but with a gang of 14 funkees inclusive of me. really enjoyed it this year on the 2nd day on CNY! had huge deals of madness, "high"-munching sessions and card-games craze! started the ball rolling at kaiwei`s house. well, some really got lost. his house is at punggol but some took a cab to from seng kang to seng kang and thought that they were early. and kaiwei was almost frightened to death when he heard kang ming said the bunch was at the carpark's main entrance while kaiwei himself was there but could not locate the peeps. LOL! and it was finally discovered that they were at seng kang instead of punggol, at the same block number as kaiwei's house. took some photos in front of kaiwei's house drop-down mirror after we all arrived. due to time constraints, we left soon after. by the way, at kaiwei's house, i`d already received kor`s sms saying, "...... slowly slowly disappearing into thin air..." well ahems.. we let him waited a little too long i supposed.
the next stop is hazel`s house. by the time we reached there, kor was already half dead after the long wait. the 1st thing i said when i saw him was of course, "sorry!!". then up to hazel`s house we go! oh my god! saw my secondary school days photos in her albums! you people know how "toot" we look when we are in secondary school, especially after these donkey years. it`s rather funny looking at ourselves and laugh! LOUDLY somemore! just then, my mum rang me up and reminded me that i should direct my friends to my house already before my family went out. kor drove, so we splited into groups and i just happily hopped onto kor`s car and then straight to my house.
and yes, just at the point of time those who were late arrived. well, i think my house was so crowded for the 1st time. some sat in the living room, the others, in my bedroom. showed them my photo albums as well and my secondary and college year books. again, the transitions resurfaced. short to long hair, fat to thin or rather "toot" to "not toot". and i showed some of them my baby photos, exclusive ones ok! i shan`t elaborate too much. LOL! i walked out to the living room and was stunned that all in the living room was had their eyes glued to my television set! again, time was tight, so we proceeded to pearl`s house, just directly opposite my house.
pearl`s house was better. bigger enought to accomodate us! and every year we have this practice. pearl MUST play the piece "marriage d'amour" for us! seriously, i really love this music piece, since secondary school days. and it was so embarrassing that i only know one silly piece on the piano, wrong fingering somemore! how much i wish i am musically inclined. well, the recorder was already hard for me, needless to mention about any other musical instruments. had lunch while some of the peeps had their gamble dens opened! i decided to "test the market" first so i watched and observed. LOL! again, before we left, i took out my camera and took a few shots. kinda like them. =)
next station, winnie`s house. thought we could actually play there with the elder siblings but too bad so sad, they`d already gone out. so we snacked abit. i still remembered that the weather was super humid then! and winnie`s dad took out every fan in the house just for us!!! so kind of him! =) this time round we did`nt warm our seats long enough and it`s time to migrate again. all of us posed for my camera again. some photos were blurred but this one we took on timer was perfect! *tink tink*
well, our group splited up again cos we (me, winnie, wick, xinni, pearl, will) wanted to visit qicai, and on the other hand, kangming, marcus and gang do not even know qicai and meihua wanted to visit her secondary school classmate with edwin. so we parted separately for the time being. qicai`s house was fun. with the crocodile and eeyore!!! took some precious photos but think hazel`s hand shook so the photos did`nt turn out too well. but it`s alright cos i still have a couple of nice ones. =)
time was running out and we quickly called meihua and edwin up. they cabbed with winnie and pearl who sacrificed kor`s free ride for us (me, will, qicai, hazel and xinni). so nice right? thanks!!! kangming and gang did not join us here cos they went to marcus`s house. kor dropped will off at his grandma's house and we were off to fetch helen from yck mrt station. i really miss her since i last saw her in december last year! after fetching her, off we go to kor`s house! well, finally went to kor`s house to visit. for the past few years we`ve been complaining that we NEVER visited his house during CNY, and after so many years of nagging, we got the chance! when aunty saw us, the 1st thing she said was "deng ni men hen jiu le leh!" LOL! then comes rocky the dog. i was abit afraid initially and was hiding behind qicai all along cos it was too active, but after a little while, i began to calm my fears, after it climbed on me and scratched my leg (perhaps that's why i began to think it`s actually very cute! weird). i don`t know why when i see rocky i feel like calling it 'sparky', the name of the dog which appeared in the starhub ad. kor showed us around in his new house. visited his room and browsed through his korea album. just then aunty came in with the red packets. guess what, she gave me, hazel and helen 2 red packets each and kor was complaining his mum was showing favouritism! well, i think it`s because aunty already got the bond with me and hazel when we were in hk while helen was kor`s ex-gf so they should be rather close, so don`t be jealous. LMAO! later in the study room, we left mr cheung our ''footprints", but sadly till now, have`nt heard any replies and responses from him or kor. (f.y.i kor`s bro was our teacher in xms.) i think i know why! HAHA! he forgot about the few little jigs who used to made fun of him already. i was thinking does he even recognise us now cos we`d changed so much! we stayed there till 6 plus. could`nt help taking pictures again. bidded goodbye to uncle and aunty and even rocky before we left!!
last stop: xinni's house, where the feast began! kor drove meihua, hazel and edwin to buy "extras" for the feast and gifts for xinnis`s mum while me, winnie and xinni went back to her house to meet jolene 1st. when everyone arrived, the dinner started. needless for me to say, look at the pictures. though a simple meal but it brought us all together. it`s a very warm feeling. really guys (those who went), don`t you all feel that too? since that was the last stop, how could we forget our cards craze? that was when kangming and gang returned to join us. nothing special actually, still the typical games most of us played during cny. but it was fun and this year i realised my luck was not that bad after all, at least i lose and i won back. some. LOL! tired of games? we had our "loh hei" and red wine! it was nearing 12am and suddenly the quiet environment was liften up. why? cause we got high! "huat ah.... huat ah!!!" "...gong xi fai cai.." "...bu bu gao shen..." whatever propserous phrases we could think of, we shouted out LOUD! i think edwin was the loudest loudspeaker! ROFL! had sips of red wine after that and i was told my face was red like mad. but hey, i`m not drunk ok! played some games in xinni`s bedroom and yes we were all too noisy! ended the party at around 1 and nope, we did`nt head home. we went to the airport to "chill", cos that's the only place i could think of where business was still as usual. hung around till late and kor sent some of us back one by one while jason ferried the others who went. thanks for being the kind 'chauffeurs' for that day. very much appreciated by us ladies especially. =)

Valentines` day gone and here`s CNY along the way...
:::V-day:::
what do you all expect? i`m single, so of course i was dated by my ladies! and yes mr. nicholas, do you have a problem??? LOL! well, we had japanese cuisine for the day at serangoon gardens after a long day at work. the ambience was still fine, but service wise, room for improvement! but V-day was`nt smooth for me. i almost lost my wallet on the bus and there, the bus captain, fancy calling himself a bus captain anyways, was extremely ridiculous, shan`t mention much about it. i just tell myself don`t fuss over this kinda nonsensical people. after dinner did`nt have the mood to go anyways and since the fair was closed for the day, we went home. anyways to my colleagues and ladies, thanks for the flowers and gifts. very much appreciated for the sincerity. =)
recently, it seemed that things start to peak for me again. i guess my life`s all churned up, especially when things start to get peaceful, another thing falls into place. work life`s getting more stressful. my colleagues were either sick or on leave. and today, for the 1st time, i was the only person present at work in my support team. i accomplished 6 reports from 9.30am to 12noon all by myself! i was amazed. such "sotong" person like me could do all that WITHOUT any discrepancies!!! yeah!!! i felt like superlady today, not silly anymore! but i guess i`m going to look forward to another phase of my life soon, `cos i`m going to submit my resignation soon. i`ve been working at this job for about a year already. time really passes like flashes of lightning... time to put my plans into good use already... =)
what is "you miss me" when you have`nt know me well enough???

Langkawi, Tioman or Phuket? or where???? will organise one more trp with my khakees before some of them go for their national service. i think i really like travelling already. what a costly hobby to pass time!!! but i still have a traveller`s dream yet to fulfil! i hope one day i might be able to go on board a plane journey to Europe, with my love. but i guess this`s gonna take me a few more donkey years. let`s see how then. i should concentrate on working hard now so i can save more and meanwhile, i`m really going back to school this year. and i really look forward to it. for this, i must GO GO JIAYOU!!!!
